2) TREASURER is responsible for being a Board Member, paying bills, making deposits, and working with an accountant (to be hired by the Board) who will produce monthly and annual reports. Monthly time commitment is approximately 3 hours per month which includes the 2 hour Board Meeting the 3rd Wed. of every month from 10:00 to 12:00. Sandy Grant will be making sure that these volunteers have all the help needed to do the jobs.
2. THREE SCHOLARSHIP OFFERINGS: One of the purposes of PSGSC is to promote activities which benefit the Parkinson's Community. We are particularly committed to advocating for the wellness of People with Parkinson's (PWP). The PSGSC Board has decided to extend our support to LSVT-LOUD, a speech therapy program, PARKINSON'S VOICE THERAPY (a program created by the Swain Center), and LSVT-BIG, a movement therapy program. ALL are designed for PWP given by trained and certified professionals. PSGSC has set aside limited tuition scholarship funding.
